There are going to be a number of coaching events during the next two months: -

 

Freetsyle Extra for juniors, dates avaialable at the National Whitewater Course in Nottingham, see list at BCU Northern Region Web-site

 

Introduction to Moving Water, courses are being organised by the Coquet Shorebase Trust

 

All Club activities are subject to risk assessment and arrangements may need to be changed in the light of conditions on the day. On matters of safety the activity leader's decision is final.

 

Please remember that you are responsible for your transport arrangements and for ensuring that you have the right kit for the trip/conditions.

 

The main event planned at the moment is the Tyne Tour, which we are organising on behalf of the BCU Northern Region. It takes place over the weekend of November 4th to 6th. The event will cover the entire Tyne River system. The information point, trade stands and camping will be at Tyne Green in Hexham. There will be a ceilidh at Wentworth Leisure Centre on the Saturday night.

 

Volunteers from the Club are needed to help marshalling at the main gate at Tyne Green and at car parks at Wark and Barrasford. E-mail info@hexhamcanoeclub.org if you would like to help. We also need people to help Claire check tickets at the ceilidh on Saturday night.
