Our Club's aim is to welcome as many members of the community as possible to canoeing in an atmosphere of safety and enjoyment.

We have an Equity Policy and are positive about people with disabilities. We encourage young people to play a full part in the Club's programme and we have a Child Protection Policy. We promote safe practises and a risk assessment precedes all club activities.

All Club Coaches and other volunteers are currently being asked to undergo CRB checks as part of our application for BCU 'Top Club' status.

We have an all year round programme of activities, both on the water and off. There are currently 12 qualified coaches at the Club. We welcome beginners and seek to introduce them to the whole range of paddlesports.

On these pages we will show some of our facilites and equipment and the activities we get up to. If you are in our area, we would like to welcome to the pleasures of paddling in this beautiful part of north east England.
