Hexham Canoe Club was formed in April 1994.

We are a large, family friendly Canoe Club, based at Tyne Green in Hexham, Northumberland in the beautiful north east of England.

We are afflilated to Canoe England, we are in the Northern Region  (click here to download the Northern region's 2009 programme) and we are a Sport England Clubmark accredited Club. We are also a patron of the Tyne Rivers Trust.

Our mission is to encourage as many people as possible to take up paddlesport. We are committed to promoting equity and access, so we welcome anyone who can hold a paddle to our Club.
